Bag dust collector (also known as baghouse dust collector) is an efficient dry gas-solid separation equipment that captures dust in the airflow through fiber filter bags. It is the most widely used dust removal technology in the field of industrial environmental protection.

1、 Core working principle
Dust containing gas enters the equipment under the negative pressure of the fan and achieves dust separation through multiple physical effects:
Gravity settling: Large particles of dust fall directly into the bottom ash hopper.
Filtering and interception: Fine dust passes through the filter bag with the airflow and is intercepted by the fiber layer (screening effect).
Inertia/diffusion: Medium and fine particles are adsorbed due to inertial collision or Brownian motion.
Dust cleaning and regeneration: After the dust accumulation resistance of the filter bag increases, the dust cleaning system starts to shake off the dust and restore the filtering capacity.
2、 Main structural components
Upper box (clean air chamber): Collect and discharge purified air.
Middle box (dust chamber): Core filtration area, equipped with filter bags and skeleton (bag cage).
Lower box (ash hopper): cone-shaped ash collection area, collecting fallen dust.
Filter bag: core components (polyester, PPS, fiberglass, P84, etc.).
Dust cleaning system: The mainstream is pulse blowing (compressed air back blowing).
Fan and control system: Provides power, automatically controls dust cleaning and operation.
3、 Three types of Qing Dynasty gray methods
1. Pulse jet type (mainstream)
Principle: High pressure air (0.4-0.6MPa) is instantly sprayed into the filter bag, causing it to swell and shake off dust.
Advantages: Strong dust cleaning, high efficiency, and can operate continuously online.
Applicable to high concentration and high air flow conditions (cement, steel, boilers).
2. Mechanical vibration type
Principle: The motor drives the mechanical device to vibrate the filter bag.
Advantages: Simple structure and low cost.
Applicable: Low concentration, intermittent operation (small woodworking, flour mills).
3. Split room reverse blowing type
Principle: Divided chamber structure, using reverse airflow to inflate the filter bag.
Advantages: minimal damage to filter bags and long lifespan.
Applicable: Ultra high air volume, continuous production (chemical, tobacco).
4、 Technical features and advantages
Ultra high efficiency: For fine dust particles ≥ 0.3 μ m, the efficiency is ≥ 99%, and the emission is<10mg/m ³.
Strong adaptability: It can handle a wide range of air flow and capture dry non stick dust.
Environmental economy: Dust is a dry material that is easy to recycle (such as metal powder, cement ash).
Main limitations: limited by the temperature and corrosion resistance of the filter material; The device has high resistance (high energy consumption).
5、 Filter bag material and applicable working conditions
Room temperature (≤ 130 ℃): Polyester needle punched felt → woodworking, grain, mining
Medium temperature (130-180 ℃): Fumes (FMS) → boiler, asphalt
High temperature (180-260 ℃): PPS, fiberglass, P84 → metallurgy, waste incineration
6、 Mainstream application areas
Building materials industry: cement, ceramics, lime, sand and gravel.
