Induced Draft Fans is A type of ventilation/exhaust equipment that creates negative pressure to extract gases (such as flue gas, air) from systems or equipment. Its core function is to “induce” gas flow, commonly used in industrial boilers, kilns, environmental protection equipment and other scenarios.
- The motor drives the impeller to rotate, which forms a negative pressure area on the air inlet side during rotation.
- Gas in the system (such as flue gas after boiler combustion) is sucked into the fan under the pressure difference between atmospheric pressure and negative pressure.
- After being accelerated and pressurized by the impeller, the gas is discharged from the air outlet to achieve directional and continuous gas extraction.
- Industrial boilers/kilns: Extract flue gas generated by combustion and send it to chimneys for emission. Meanwhile, maintain stable negative pressure in the furnace to ensure combustion efficiency.
- Environmental protection equipment: Cooperate with dust collectors, desulfurization and denitrification equipment to discharge treated waste gas and ensure the normal operation of environmental protection systems.
- Building ventilation: Used for exhaust in basements, workshops and other places, or cooperate with air conditioning systems to achieve air circulation.
- Chemical/metallurgical industries: Extract process gases and dust generated during production to ensure the safety of the production environment.
- Negative pressure operation: The core is to “suck air” through negative pressure, rather than “supply air” through positive pressure (different from Force Draft Fans).
- Temperature/corrosion resistance: In industrial scenarios, most need to withstand high temperatures (such as flue gas temperature) and corrosive gases. Materials are often carbon steel, stainless steel or anti-corrosion coatings.
- Adjustable flow and pressure: Some models are equipped with frequency conversion control, which can adjust air volume and negative pressure intensity according to system requirements.
