rotary drum granulator is a molding machine capable of manufacturing materials into specific shapes. As one of the key pieces of equipment in the compound fertilizer industry, it is suitable for large-scale production of compound fertilizers through both cold and hot granulation processes, and for fertilizers with high, medium, and low concentrations.
Based on the agglomeration wet granulation technology, materials are fed into the rotary drum granulator from the feed end. They are moistened with a certain amount of water or steam, and chemical reactions may occur during this process. Driven by the drive system, the drum rotates, causing the materials to roll inside the drum. Pressure is generated between the particles, which then agglomerate into spherical shapes. The finished granules are discharged from the discharge port.
The drum is usually lined with special rubber sheets or acid-resistant stainless steel liners, enabling automatic scar removal and tumor elimination. This design eliminates the traditional scraper device and features corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and other advantages.
