what is a Cage crusher?

Cage crusher: a horizontal double rotor impact fine crushing equipment commonly used in fertilizer production lines, specifically designed to break up clumps of fertilizers and organic fertilizers.

Working Principle

Two sets of concentric circular cage discs (inner cage, outer cage) are driven by two motors to rotate at high speed in reverse, and wear-resistant alloy steel cage bars are fixed on the cage discs.
The material enters the center from the feeding port, and is thrown outward by centrifugal force. It is repeatedly hit, sheared, and collided by the cage bars moving in opposite directions, and gradually crushed from the inside out. Qualified fine materials are discharged from the bottom; **No sieve structure * *, controlled by the gap between the cage bars to control particle size, less likely to clog the machine.

Cage bars are core vulnerable parts, commonly made of high manganese steel/high chromium alloy. They can be replaced separately after wear and are easy to disassemble and maintain.

Applicable Materials

1. Fertilizer: Lumped urea, monoammonium, diammonium, potassium chloride, potassium sulfate, industrial salt crystalline blocks (brittle lump materials)
2. Organic fertilizer: fermented and decomposed organic fertilizer clumps, humic acid, bacterial residue, and distiller’s grains (with a maximum water content of about 40%)
3. Other: brittle minerals with medium to low hardness, some chemical crystalline materials

Not suitable for: large hard stones, materials with high fiber content, high viscosity mud materials
